There’s something about playing Muse Feeling Good on cello that instantly lifts the energy. This one never fails to capture attention whenever I perform it for wedding receptions or whilst guests are arriving.
This performance was recorded live at Kew Gardens in London, right before a wedding ceremony for Liv and Robert. The venue is breathtaking: glasshouses glowing with natural light, greenery everywhere, and acoustics that make a single cello sound absolutely huge. Even with guests arriving and the usual wedding-day bustle in the background, the sound filled the space beautifully – rich, resonant, and full of character.

Kew Gardens is one of London’s most iconic wedding venues, and for musicians it’s a dream. The combination of open architecture and historic character gives every note a chance to resonate in an incredible way. Solo cello works especially well here, since it cuts through the chatter while keeping the mood elegant and romantic.
Feeling Good is a favourite for people who want something powerful and celebratory during their drinks reception or as part of their ceremony music. It’s familiar but bold, like a modern classic, and it’s the kind of piece that makes guests smile and sets the tone for the rest of the day.
